Youth soccer clubs in Arkansas
Arkansas youth soccer splits into two scenes that rarely overlap: central Arkansas around Little Rock, and the fast growing northwest corner around Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville.
Club soccer in Arkansas
The Arkansas Soccer Association is the state body, and its site lists the Arkansas Competitive Soccer League for ages 11U to 19U, the Central Arkansas Recreational League, academy leagues in both the northwest and the central part of the state, and a USYS National League entry. In Little Rock, Arkansas Rising is the biggest competitive name. It was formerly Little Rock Futbol Club, took its current name in 2020, and plays in the ECNL Regional League, which has put it in matchups with Texas and Oklahoma clubs.
Up north, the story is Sporting Kansas City's reach. Sporting Arkansas works as a player development club and lists a Girls Academy Aspire League team along with an academy and a classic level. It teams up with Ozark United FC in Rogers, which launched six boys academy teams from U13 to U19 in MLS NEXT's new competition tier for 2025-26. Ozark United says its long term plan includes a men's pro team and a women's team, but those haven't started play, so Arkansas still has no pro club to point your kids toward.
What the state does have is room to grow. Northwest Arkansas is one of the faster growing parts of the South, and the arrival of an MLS NEXT academy there is the clearest sign. Parents in the central and southern parts of the state still tend to stay with Arkansas Rising or a local recreational association, and travel to Texas or Oklahoma for bigger events. That makes the choice of club here as much about the drive as about the badge.
Popular clubs in Arkansas
These are the clubs Arkansas families ask about most. League badges show what we could confirm for the 2025-26 season, so check each club's own site for current teams, tryout dates and fees.
Arkansas Rising Soccer Club
Arkansas Rising is a nonprofit based in Little Rock that grew out of Little Rock Futbol Club, which has served central Arkansas since 1980, and took its current name in 2020. It offers recreational leagues from 4v4 through 11v11, a youth academy, Classic teams, Pre-ECNL and ECNL Regional League teams for both boys and girls, plus college recruiting help. It also hosts the Capital City Cup tournament and runs summer and winter camps.
Sporting Arkansas
Sporting Arkansas calls itself the premier player development club in northwest Arkansas and is tied to the Sporting Kansas City network. Its site lists Pre-Academy, Academy and Classic levels, a Sporting Development League, and a Girls Academy Aspire League team for girls. For boys, it works with Ozark United FC on the Ozark United boys academy. It also offers offseason training under the Berraco name.
Ozark United FC
Ozark United FC is a Rogers based club founded in 2023 with long term plans for pro teams. Its youth academy fields six boys teams, U13 through U19, in MLS NEXT's new competition tier for 2025-26, in a joint effort with Sporting Arkansas. A girls program is in development, and the club lists scholarships, evaluations, clinics and a girls college ID event. Founding partners include Unilever, Arkansas Children's and America's Car-Mart.
Little Rock Rangers Academy
The Arkansas Soccer Association's central district lists Little Rock Rangers Academy alongside Arkansas Rising, and the same group also lists Searcy Rangers. The Rangers site presents men's and women's teams, an academy and season tickets marked coming soon. It offers central Arkansas families a second club to compare with Arkansas Rising, with a senior-team connection that most youth clubs in the state lack. The site doesn't name youth leagues or a founding year.
NWA United FC
NWA United Soccer Club is listed in the Arkansas Soccer Association's northwest district under a Gentry contact and shows two sites on its own page, one in Highfill and one in Decatur. Families register players and join teams online and check game schedules through Squadi. The site doesn't name leagues, a founding year or team counts, so it is best understood as a community option in the far northwest corner of the state.
Bentonville FC Prodigy
Bentonville FC Prodigy is a Bentonville club that serves Northwest Arkansas and appears in the Arkansas Soccer Association's northwest district list. Its site, with a 2026 copyright, highlights tryout registration and a High School Prep session, along with a field-based program focused on player development. It doesn't name a league or founding year. For families in Benton County it is a smaller, local alternative to the larger Sporting Arkansas and Ozark United setup.
From Arkansas clubs to college soccer
For a lot of Arkansas families, club soccer is also the road to playing in college. These pages cover the next step, from ID camps close to home to emailing college coaches.

Meet Recruitly ›Choosing a club in Arkansas
Pick your corner of the state first. Little Rock and Bentonville are about three hours apart, so a club in one doesn't help a family in the other. In the northwest, Sporting Arkansas and Ozark United FC offer an academy path tied to a Sporting Kansas City and MLS NEXT pipeline. In central Arkansas, Arkansas Rising runs everything from recreational leagues to ECNL Regional League teams under one roof.
Higher level teams in either area travel to Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri or Kansas City for games, so budget for hotel nights from U13 on. Summers are hot and humid, and spring brings severe storms, so ask where teams train when fields close. Tryout dates differ from club to club, and most post them in spring for the fall. If your child is under ten, an academy or recreational program is a low pressure way to see which club's coaching style fits before you commit to a competitive team.
