Club soccer in New Hampshire

Seacoast United, founded in 1992 and based around Hampton and Epping, is the largest youth organization in the state and a regional force that also has teams in Maine and Massachusetts. Most of the other competitive clubs are community programs in towns like Nashua, Amherst and Rollinsford, and they serve the families who want travel soccer without the heavier schedule of a national league.

The New Hampshire Soccer Association is the state's US Youth Soccer body, based in Manchester. It runs the NH Soccer League, works with the New England Club Soccer League, and runs the Olympic Development Program for players who want to be seen at the state and regional level. Its site also points to the New England EDP Conference, which draws teams from across New England. Competitive play generally starts around age 9.

At the top, Seacoast United lists MLS NEXT for boys and Girls Academy for girls at its Elite and Premier levels, along with the USYS National League and other regional leagues. Its facilities are in Bedford, Epping and Hampton, and its teams are organized into NH Bedford, NH Concord and NH South, so families in the southern half of the state usually have a site within an hour. Club teams from U8 to U19 are listed for both boys and girls.

There's no professional team in the state, so the older clubs get their college and pro exposure through showcases and national events. Winter is the other fact of life. Indoor facilities such as the Hampshire Dome in Milford, Seacoast's Hampton indoor facility and the futsal programs at clubs like International Soccer Club in Nashua keep players training from November through March. The clubs below are the ones families most often compare, and each links to its own site for current teams and tryouts.

Popular clubs in New Hampshire

These are the clubs New Hampshire families ask about most. League badges show what we could confirm for the 2025-26 season, so check each club's own site for current teams, tryout dates and fees. For 2026-27, the NPL and the US Youth Soccer National League combined into the National 1 League, which teams enter one at a time, so ask a club which of its teams play in N1.

Picking a team

Choosing a club in New Hampshire

Because the geography is compact, start with what your player needs. If the goal is an MLS NEXT or Girls Academy track, Seacoast United is the club to ask about, and its Epping and Hampton sites are worth a visit before you commit. For a travel team with less driving, look at Hampshire United in Amherst, International Soccer Club in Nashua, or ROSO in Rollinsford, which serves the Somersworth area.

Next, check the league your age group plays in. The NH Soccer League and the New England Club Soccer League keep most games in the region, while the national tiers add more weekends away. Ask how many games are home games and what the tournament schedule costs on top of fees.

Also plan for the calendar. Hampshire United lists tryouts for U8 through U14 for fall 2026 teams and U15 through U19 for spring 2027 teams, and many NH clubs run tryouts months ahead. Get on email lists early and ask about winter training at indoor facilities.

Before you sign anything, read up on what club soccer costs and how tryouts and offers usually work. Most New Hampshire families find the second season easier than the first.
